We’re excited to share that The Current is in the early stages of expanding our services for children and adolescents and we’re honored to highlight Jackie Esser, M.Ed., LPC, as a key part of this growing area of care.
Therapist Megan Bogue from The Current Therapy Services, Columbia, Missouri

Jackie is a compassionate therapist with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health. Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and includes the use of play therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), and other creative methods to support young clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Jackie’s passion lies in helping children and teens better understand their inner world; creating space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
